D – Embossing
Embossing is the process of creating an impression on an existing surface, and can often be found of a range of products. Glass, metal, cloth and paper are the most common materials that are used for embossing. The process used to create the effect raises the surface of the material, creating another dimension to the product – unlike the results that regular printing or engraving usually provide. Adding an embossed surface to a product establishes a premium quality for your brand, and creates a more tactile experience for the customer.
